The Trenches Heritage Day
Sunday 12 July 2015, 11am to 4pm
at Pullingshill Wood, Marlow Common.

 

Join us at Pullingshill Wood to commemorate the First World War training trenches.

 

This free family-friendly event will feature hands-on activities, performances and interactive sessions including:

  • A Sergeant Major's drill and children's assault course
  • Guided walks, talks and displays on the history of the trenches
  • A remembrance service at 11am
  • Local cadet groups in uniform undertaking military tasks.

 

No booking required.

 

Please park at Danesfield Primary School, Henley Road, Medmenham, Bucks, SL7 2EW.

 

The event is around 15 minutes walk from the car park, along an un-surfaced path.

 

Refreshments will be available.

 

This event is being run in partnership with Marlow Remembers World War 1.
