Booker's past uncovered 1300-1800
- people, families and property.
Booker Memorial Hall,
Friday, September 11th, 7.30 - 9.30pm.
Using the manorial records of West Wycombe and the Winchester pipe Rolls, Simon Neal, a one-time resident of Booker, will attempt to trace back properties in Booker and the people who owned them, to construct a picture in about 1300. Simon will also explore the impact of the Black Death on Booker. He will try to establish where the earliest properties were located in Booker, and when other properties came into existence during the period 1300 to 1800.
Please come and bring your friends to what promises to be a fascinating evening. £3 entry includes tea/coffee and cake.
This event is organised by the Booker & District Local History Group.
